What would it take to be able to do 1000 push ups at once? Toshirro
I am 25. Quite skinny at about 130lb.

I used to exercise a lot between ages 16-18. Was able to do 90 push ups at once and never managed to do 100.
I got sick at a time and stopped working out.
After that came college and work and long story short I never got back to working out.

Now I have mild scoliosis, poor posture and some neck problems.

Apart from that I got severe lack of energy from horrendous amounts of stress in life.

Anyway, I would like to slowly get back to working out because it will be good for me.

Additionally I would like to reach a goal of being able to do 1000 push ups at once. It may sound silly but I would really like to achieve that. On top of that I'd like to run an ultra marathon at one point.

But considering my health I have to take it slow. So I am wondering.. what would it take to reach that number?

Would it be possible by simply incrementally increasing the amount of push ups you can do? Would weighted push ups help in achieving the goal?

Of course I would be doing other exercises too. It's just that I would really like to be able to one day do 1000 push ups at once.

Is there anything you would like to share? Asking the senior memebers or anyone really who could add something of value to my goal.

Thanks!
